Google Cloud Invitational Powered by ProCloud

We are thrilled to announce that the Google Cloud Invitational, powered by ProCloud, a CS:GO tournament to determine Switzerlands best Counter-Strike team.

With two qualifiers, a playoffs stage and offline finals, this tournament promises to be one of the most action packed events of the year. 

The tournament will feature two qualifiers, providing players with the opportunity to showcase their skills and earn a spot in the playoffs. The top teams from each qualifier will advance to the playoffs, where they will compete against one another in a high-stakes battle for a chance to make it to the offline finals. In addition, there will also be an invite and a wildcard spot for the playoffs.

The invite slot will go to *drum rolls* - the "home team" - SLNT.
The wildcard spot will be determined through a community voting after the second qualifier.

And that's not all - the offline finals of the Google Cloud Invitational will be hosted at the Google Campus in Zurich. This stunning location is sure to provide an incredible atmosphere for everyone on-site. Huge thanks for Google Cloud DACH for supporting this event and providing such an awesome venue.

Overview

Qualifiers are open for all teams which can field at least 4 Swiss players. The qualifiers as well as the playoffs will be hosted on FACEIT. Make sure to join our discord server for questions as well as communication during the qualifiers and the playoffs.

Playoffs

Date: 15.04.2023 - 14:00

The wildcard and invite spots will have to go up against the second placed teams of the qualifiers while the first placed teams can comfortably wait for the winners of this round in order to determine our two finalists. The winners of these rounds will earn the pleasure of playing live from the Google Campus.

Grand Finals

Date: 05.05.2023 - ca. 20:00 (Friday evening!)
Format: BO3
Location: Google Campus, Europaallee 20, Zurich
Prizepool:

  1. CHF 600.- + Google merchandise
  2. CHF 400.- + Google merchandise

We'll also have the opportunity to enjoy some fantastic catering throughout the finals.
